Mounds View City Council September 8, 2025 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br /> <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Clark. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce Ordinance 1048 <br />(Replaces Ordinance 1022 12/09/2024), Amending the Municipal Code Relating to Hauling of <br />Solid Waste and Pricing Transparency with Option B. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn reported the Mounds View Police Foundation would be meeting on <br />Tuesday, September 9. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn explained the Mounds View Tribute Park would be holding its dedication <br />ceremony on Saturday, September 13. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith stated she would be attending the Ramsey County League of Local <br />Government board meeting on Friday, September 12. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark indicated she attended the Park, Rec and Forestry Commission meeting <br />last month. She noted the official names for the two dinosaurs was Barney (purple) and Dino <br />(green). She reported there was a lot of work being done in the City’s parks at this time. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark stated the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting next on <br />Tuesday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Works Facility. She noted the rescheduled car <br />show would be held at Turbo Tim’s on Saturday, October 4. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark noted she would be attending the Resource Fair at the Community Center <br />on Saturday, September 13. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark reported the City-wide cleanup day would be held on Saturday, September <br />20. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he would not be able to attend the Tribute Park dedication on <br />Saturday as he will be out of State. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked if there was another Council Member that would be able to <br />attend the Convention Bureau meeting for him next Tuesday. Council Member Gunn and Council <br />Member Clark were both available to attend this meeting. Council Member Meehlhause <br />commented further on the finances and hotel revenues the Convention Bureau has received through <br />July. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom reported he attended a Nine Cities meeting today where preliminary levies were <br />discussed. <br />
