Mounds View City Council September 22, 2025 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />the 2026 budget and not the 2025 budget. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Clark. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10152, <br />Authorizing the Purchase of a 2026 Vactor 2100I with 2026 Kenworth T480 chassis. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith reported she enjoyed attending the unveiling ceremony of the mermaid on <br />Saturday, September 20. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith indicated she would be attending an airport committee meeting on <br />Thursday, September 25. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark explained she attended the Tribute Park dedication on Saturday, September <br />13. She thanked everyone who planned and participated in this event. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark reported the Festival in the Park Committee met last week and decided the <br />fireworks would be saved for next year. She indicated the car show would be held on Saturday, <br />October 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Turbo Tim’s. She noted awards would be presented at <br />2:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark stated she enjoyed attending the mermaid unveiling ceremony as well and <br />was pleased by the great turnout at this event. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark commented she would be attending the fitness park ribbon cutting <br />ceremony on Thursday, September 25, as well as a Park, Recreation and Forestry meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark reported she attended a PTA meeting last week where a school board <br />member provided an update on the upcoming election. She encouraged residents to get out and <br />vote on November 4. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated on Wednesday, September 24 a paint and sip class would be held at <br />the Community Center. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn reported the SBM Open House would be held on Saturday, September 27 <br />at Fire Station 2. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn indicated the last Tribute Park meeting would be held on Tuesday, <br />September 30. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn commented the Mounds View Police Foundation would meet next on <br />Tuesday, October 7. <br />
