RESOLUTION 10168 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP DESIGNATION OF AT 2716 HILLVIEW ROAD; MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE CPA2025-0001 WHEREAS, City of Mounds View Economic Development Authority (the "EDA") own the residential property at 2716 Hillview Road, Parcel ID 063023430030, zoned R-1 Single Family Residential; and, WHEREAS, the EDA previously authorized Sinan Music of SMC Construction, Inc. (the "applicant") to apply on behalf of the EDA for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to amend the Future Land Use Map designation of the property; and WHEREAS, the property is legally described as: LOT 112, SPRING LAKE PARK HILL VIEW; and WHEREAS, a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning of the property will better align the property with the City's long-term development goals; and, WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan Amendment and has considered the code requirements and pertinent issues involved in the request. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission hereby recommends approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment to amend the designation of the property at 2716 Hillview Road in the Future Land Use Map from `Single- Family Detached Residential' to `Multi-Family Residential', with the following conditions and findings of fact: Condition for Approval 1. The parcel located at 2716 Hillview Road shall be re-designated from Single-Family Detached Residential to Multi-Family Residential on the City's Future Land Use Map. 2. Prior to issuing building permits, the applicant shall obtain approval for stormwater management. 3. Following City Council approval, the amendment shall be submitted to the Metropolitan Council for review and final approval.
