RESOLUTION NO. 10165 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> ORDERING THE ABATEMENT OF HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS AT <br /> 5090 IRONDALE ROAD IN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> WHEREAS, City officials received complaints regarding improper/unlawful storage of <br /> 'Junk" at 5090 Irondale Road in 2019, 2021, and 2024; and <br /> WHEREAS, based upon an investigation/inspection of the residence, it is <br /> recommended that the hazard/junk be abated; <br /> WHEREAS, staff issued a notice of violation citing Nuisance code violations and <br /> served on to the property owner May 9, 2024, April 22, 2025 and failure to comply by May <br /> 22, 2025 would result in the City taking additional enforcement action; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 463.161, and Mounds View City Code <br /> 91.003 Subd. C. 3 authorizes the governing body of any City or town to correct or remove <br /> the hazardous conditions of any hazardous buildings or property. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council agrees <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. The City of Mounds View finds that the property at 5090 Irondale Road in the <br /> City of Mounds View is in violation of Nuisance Code Section 91.002 and 91.003 <br /> Subd. C.3 — outside piling/storage of junk. <br /> 2. The hazardous condition at the foregoing address constitutes a public nuisance <br /> within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes. <br /> 3.
