I h
MOUNDS VIEW
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
2401 Mounds View Boulevard I Mounds View, MN 55112-1499
Phone: 763.717.4000 1 Fax: 763.717.4019
October 29, 2025
Gregory Gunn
5090 Irondale Rd
Mounds View, MN 55112
Dear Greg:
Please accept this letter as formal notice that on Monday November 10, 2025, at
6:.15pm the Mounds View Council will provide you with an opportunity to be heard while
considering a resolution authorizing abatement of items outside your home at 5090
Irondale Rd in violation of the City Nuisance Ordinance.
I have notified you of the need to take action previously in several personal contacts
and emails. You received notice of violations dated April 22, 2025, and May 9, 2024,
explaining the need to take action. I understand and appreciate your personal and
health struggles over the past few years. As I said previously, the time has come to take
care of this and get some closure for you and the community.
The abatement process provides the City with legal authority to come onto your
property and clean up and remove outside storage of items in violation of the Nuisance
Ordinance. The City will hire a contractor to do the work and all costs related to clean-
up and storage will be your responsibility. You have the option of a direct payment or
absent that, the City will assess your property as a special assessment as allowed by
Minnesota Statute § 429.101 which then incurs additional fees that will also be
assessed.
If you have questions concerning this matter or would like to schedule an appointment,
please contact me directly at 763-717-4023 or jeremiah.anderson(cmoundsviewmn.org
Cordially,
City of Mounds View
Jeremiah Anderson
Housing/Code Enforcement Inspector
