The Truth-in-taxation meeting was held <br />on December 1, 2025, and the public was provided an opportunity to comment. The City Council has <br />proposed a final overall levy increase (including both the City levy and EDA levy) of 6.69%. <br /> <br />The City Council may adopt the tax levy on December 9th meeting or schedule an additional meeting if <br />necessary to adopt it no later than December 22, 2025. <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve the attached resolution adopting the 2026 property tax <br />levy. <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> ________________________ <br />Gayle Bauman <br />Finance Director <br />
