<br /> <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 10189 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #10 FOR THE 2025 STREET PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council approved Resolution 10089 in April 2025, authorizing <br />Northwest Asphalt to perform the 2025 Street Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the parking lot project was delayed because Zayo was unresponsive to <br />numerous requests asking that they relocate their existing fiber that was in the construction area <br />for the new rain garden; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Staff notified Northwest Asphalt of the October 30, 2025 of the contract end <br />date; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Northwest Asphalt submitted Change Order #10, requesting that the contract <br />end date be extended from October 30, 2025, to June 1, 2026. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. Accepts Change Order from Northwest Asphalt for a new project close out date of June 1, <br />2026, for the 2025 Street Project. <br /> <br />2. The Director of Public Works is authorized to make approvals related to contract <br />modifications during construction of the Project on behalf of the City Council as per the <br />Purchasing Policy. <br /> <br />3.
