Mounds View City Council January 5, 2026 <br />Special Meeting Page 2 <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 10192, Appointing City Council Members and City Staff as <br />Representatives for City Commissions and Other Organizations for 2026. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council appoint City Council Members and City staff <br />as representatives for City Commissions and other organizations for 2026. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith reported that the ACAC (Anoka County Airport Commission) was not on <br />this list. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom thanked Council Member Smith for bringing this to his attention and requested <br />all of the unfulfilled committee assignments be addressed at this time. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith indicated she was interested in serving as the City liaison for the Ramsey <br />County League of Local Government. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark stated she would serve as the Ramsey County League of Local Government <br />alternate. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn explained she would serve as the liaison to the Mounds View Business <br />Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark and Council Member Smith agreed to serve on the Development Review <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith indicated she would like to serve as the liaison to the Cable Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom reported he would like to remain the Community Engagement liaison. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark explained she would serve as the alternate. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom noted City Administrator Zikmund and Police Chief Zender served as the <br />liaisons for NYFS. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause and Council Member Gunn requested to serve as the liaisons to the <br />HR Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would continue to serve as the Twin Cities Gateway <br />liaison as he was the treasurer for the executive board. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark stated she would continue as the liaison on the Fire Board. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause explained he would serve as the alternate. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark indicated she would be happy to serve as the Park Board liaison in 2026.
