Mounds View City Council January 5, 2026 Special Meeting Page 3 Council Member Meehlhause stated he would serve as the liaison to the Planning Commission and Charter Commission. Mayor Lindstrom requested Council Member Clark serve as the Mounds View Police Foundation liaison. Council Member Smith indicated she was willing to continue her service on the Airport Commission in 2026. Mayor Lindstrom reported he would serve as the liaison for Metro Cities with Council Member Gunn serving as the liaison. MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Clark. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10192, Appointing City Council Members and City Staff as Representatives for City Commissions and Other Organizations for 2026 as discussed except for Festival in the Park. Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. Mayor Lindstrom asked who wanted to serve as the liaison to Festival in the Park. Council Member Gunn indicated she would serve as the Festival in the Park liaison. MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Clark. Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Abstain – 1 (Smith) Motion carried. C. Resolution 10193, Approving the 2026 City Council Meeting Dates. City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the 2026 City Council meeting dates. Council Member Clark requested the April 6 Council worksession meeting be moved to March 30. She asked that the July 6 worksession meeting be moved to June 29. She suggested the September 8 worksession be moved to August 31. Council Member Smith reported she would not be able to attend a Council worksession meeting on August 31. Council Member Meehlhause indicated the September worksession meeting could be held on September 14 after the City Council meeting. The Council supported this recommendation.
