PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom encouraged the public to speak with kindness and respect when addressing the <br />City Council during Public Comment. There were no comments from the public. <br /> <br />8. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. Ordinance 1052, Second Reading and Approval, Amending Chapter 121 <br />Related to Cannabis and Hemp Businesses ROLL CALL VOTE. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council adopt an Ordinance that would amend Chapter <br />121 related to Cannabis and Hemp Businesses. He noted the proposed change would amend the <br />hours of operation for these businesses. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Clark. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance 1052, <br />Second Reading and Approval, Amending Chapter 121 Related to Cannabis and Hemp Businesses. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Clark/Gunn/Meehlhause/Smith/Lindstrom. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Ordinance 1053, Introduction and First Reading Amending the 2026 City of <br />Mounds View Fee Schedule Regarding Residential Plumbing Fees. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council introduce an Ordinance that would amend the <br />2026 City of Mounds View fee schedule regarding residential plumbing fees. He indicated the <br />proposed changes would allow the City to remain consistent with State Statute. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith suggested the reference to campground be removed from the Ordinance <br />language. City Administrator Zikmund reported this language was coming from State Statute and <br />staff would recommend the language remain as is. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Clark. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce Ordinance <br />1053, Amending the 2026 City of Mounds View Fee Schedule Regarding Residential Plumbing <br />Fees. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Approval of Resolution 10200, A Resolution Appointing a Chairperson to the <br />Mounds View Planning & Zoning Commission. <br />
