<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2026 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW FEE SCHEDULE
<br />RELATED TO RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL PLUMBING PERMIT FEES
<br />
<br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends pages 4 and 5 of the
<br />2026 City of Mounds View Fee Schedule, adopted by Ordinance 1049, by adding the underlined
<br />material and removing the deleted material.
<br />
<br />SECTION 2. Pursuant to Minnesota Law, the Mounds View City Charter, and Mounds
<br />View City Code, an amendment to the 2026 fee schedule for City services and licensing
<br />is hereby adopted after making the specified revisions shown below:
<br />
<br />Plumbing Inspection Permit, Residential and Commercial
<br />(State Surcharge Required, See Appendix B)
<br />Minimum $60 or 1.25% of
<br />Valuation, whichever is Larger
<br />Plumbing Permit Plan Review, Commercial - Plumbing system plans and specifications that
<br />are submitted to the City of Mounds View for review shall be accompanied by the appropriate
<br />plan examination fees shall be paid prior to plan approval. The City of Mounds View shall charge
<br />the following fees for plan reviews and audits of plumbing installations for public, commercial,
<br />and industrial buildings:
<br />1. Systems with both water distribution and drain, waste, and vent systems and having:
<br />a. 25 or fewer drainage fixture units, $150
<br />b. 26 to 50 drainage fixture units, $250
<br />c. 51 to 150 drainage fixture units, $350
<br />d. 151 to 249 drainage fixture units, $500
<br />e. 250 or more drainage fixture units, $3 per drainage fixture unit to a maximum of
<br />$4,000; and
<br />f. Interceptors, separators, or catch basins, $70 per interceptor, separator, or catch
<br />basin design
<br />2. Building sewer service only, $150
<br />3. Building water service only, $150
<br />4. Building water distribution system only, no drainage system, $5 per supply fixture unit or
<br />$150, whichever is greater
<br />5. Storm drainage system, a minimum fee of $150 or:
<br />a. $50 per drain opening, up to a maximum of $500; and
<br />b. $70 per interceptor, separator, or catch basin design
<br />6. Manufactured home park or campground, one to 25 sites, $300
<br />7. Manufactured home park or campground, 26 to 50 sites, $350
<br />8. Manufactured home park or campground, 51 to 125 sites, $400
<br />9. Manufactured home park or campground, more than 125 sites, $500
<br />10. Revision to previously reviewed or incomplete plans:
<br />a. Review of plans for which the city has issued two or more requests for additional
<br />information, per review, $100 or ten percent of the original fee, whichever is
<br />greater
<br />b. Proposer-requested revision with no increase in project scope, $50 or ten percent
<br />of original fee, whichever is greater
<br />c. Proposer-requested revision with an increase in project scope, $50 plus the
<br />difference between the original project fee and the revised project fee---

<br />The following table establishes plumbing permit fees for one and two-family residential
<br />structures.
