PUBLIC HEARING: Resolution 10092, Approving a Chicken -Keeping <br />License for Julie Clark, 8005 Woodlawn Drive. <br />Councilmember Clark recused herself from voting on this item. <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council consider a chicken -keeping license for Julie <br />Clark at 8005 Woodlawn Drive. He explained all necessary paperwork has been submitted to the <br />City and the City had not received any comments from the neighbors. <br />Mayor Lindstrom opened the public hearing at 6:13 p.m. <br />Julie Clark, 8005 Woodlawn Drive, reported she would like to have up to 12 chickens. She <br />explained she would be adopting chicks from the middle school after they hatch. She indicated she <br />had spoken with Vince Meyer about a chicken coop. <br />Hearing no further public input, Mayor Lindstrom closed the public hearing at 6:15 p.m. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10092, <br />Approving a Chicken -Keeping License for Julie Clark, 8005 Woodlawn Drive. <br />Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />C. PUBLIC HEARING: Resolution 10093, Approving a Chicken -Keeping <br />License for Jeremy Maniak, 5085 Greenwood Drive. <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council consider a chicken -keeping license for Jeremy <br />Maniak at 5085 Greenwood Drive. He explained all necessary paperwork has been submitted to <br />the City and noted the City received one comment from a neighbor that opposed the request and <br />one neighbor sent an email of support. <br />Mayor Lindstrom opened the public hearing at 6:16 p.m. <br />Jeremy Maniak, 5085 Greenwood Drive, explained he was hoping to keep six chickens. He stated <br />he understood one of his neighbors opposed the request. <br />Mayor Lindstrom encouraged Mr. Maniak to speak with his neighbor. <br />Hearing no further public input, Mayor Lindstrom closed the public hearing at 6:17 p.m. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Clark/Meehlhause.
