sentencing. For this reason, I must be somewhat vague with the exact details such as
dates, drug weights, locations, etc.

Starting with notable 4th Quarter cases, in October 2025, Ramsey County VCET and
DEA have been working a long-term narcotic investigation into a Mexican Based Drug
Trafficking Organization responsible for transporting large quantities of cocaine into the
United States, specifically the State of Minnesota. We received information about a
truck that was set to arrive in Mounds View at a predetermined location. Surveillance
was set up in the area, and a suspect vehicle was soon thereafter identified. Law
Enforcement then executed a take down on the truck and seized approximately 10 - 15
kilos of cocaine. The driver was identified and learned that he was living in a city along
the United States / Mexico border. The driver was arrested, and charges have been
filed. This case is ongoing.
Between October – December 2025, some Investigators from Ramsey County VCET
and DEA traveled to a European country where we worked with Interpol to effect an
arrest of fentanyl chemist who traveled there from Mexico on vacation. This chemist was
responsible for producing hundreds of thousands of fentanyl pills and then mailing them
into the United States to his/her customers. This case is ongoing.
Between October – December 2025, Ramsey County VCET and DEA conducted two
undercover methamphetamine deals in which a runner sold pound quantities of
methamphetamine to an undercover officer. It should be noted that the undercover
officer worked a case on this runner years prior, however, wore a face mask during the
interview at that time. Thankfully, when the runner showed up to his/her vehicle to
complete the narcotic sale, the runner did not realize the “customer” was an undercover
officer because of the good officer safety used by the officer years prior. This case
remains ongoing and active.
In December 2025, Ramsey County VCET executed a Search Warrant at an address in
Saint Paul and recovered 100 pounds of methamphetamine. Within minutes of
executing the search warrants, citizens somehow began arriving in front of the house
believing that we were ICE. It is unknown if the suspects were tipped off to our search
warrant and if crucial evidence was destroyed. Three individuals were later arrested and
charged in state court. One has since pled guilty and a second is set to pled guilty,
without seeing any discovery, to avoid being charged in federal court. After serving their
sentence, they will be deported to their home country. The third male’s case is still
ongoing.
In December 2025, Law Enforcement seized a parcel which contained a large quantity
of methamphetamine. A controlled delivery was conducted, and two individuals were
arrested after accepting the parcel. After agreeing to cooperate, they stated an
individual was on the way to pick up and pay for the methamphetamine and that he
would be there shortly. Around this time, a large crowd gathered outside the residence,
blowing whistles and shining strobe lights toward Law Enforcement. Law Enforcement
later learned that the individual coming for the methamphetamine had indeed arrived
