The report required under this policy must be made to the Office of the
City Administrator, or their indicated designee, within five business days of the employee or
public official’s identification, observation, or denial.
Reports received under this policy will be reviewed by the Office of the City Administrator.
The City Administrator may subsequently forward such reports to the City’s prosecuting
attorney and provide a copy to its city attorney for additional review in order to evaluate and
reasonably determine whether a violation of City Code has occurred and what
administrative enforcement action may follow.
Members of the public, including but not limited to residents or visitors who have rented City
park spaces, may make a similar report of the Office of the City Administrator when that
member of the public identifies or observes the use of City resources for a prohibited
purpose. Reports received from members of the public will be reviewed and acted upon in
the same manner as outlined above.
Contact
Questions about the City’s Separation Ordinance Reporting Policy should be directed to City
Administrator Nyle Zikmund

Adopted by the Mounds View City Council on March 9, 2026.
