The Mounds View Vision A Thriving Desirable Community Item No: 8H Meeting Date: March 23, 2026 Type of Business: CB Administrator Review: ____ City of Mounds View Staff Report To: Honorable Mayor and City Council From: Don Peterson, Director of Public Works/Parks and Recreation Item Title/Subject: Resolution 10228, Approving the Final Payment for the 2025 Silver View Pond Improvement Project Background: ACM, LLC submitted the lowest responsible bid and was awarded construction for the 2025 Silver View Pond Improvements. AMC, LLC performed construction for the project during summer 2025 and was substantially complete October 15, 2025 – the date that the one- year warranty period began. A punch list was prepared after substantial completion for the remaining minor work and/or repairs left to complete before project close-out. AMC, LLC completed those items and has met all requirements of the contract documents in a satisfactory manner. The following is a summary of the final construction costs: Original Contract Amount: $549,217.50 Change Orders: $70,467.39 Revised Contract Amount: $619,684,89 Actual Contract Amount: $525,983.92* *actual contract amount based on contracted quantities used. The City has withheld the final payment to AMC, LLC, pending completion of the punch list and other close-out requirements in the amount of $28,723.21. The close-out items have been completed, and the City Council is being asked to approve the final payment to AMC, LLC in the amount of $28,723.21. Recommendation: Public Works (and Stantec Consulting Services) recommend that the City Council adopt the attached Resolution to accept the construction work and final payment of $28,723.21 for the 2025 Silver View Pond Improvement Project upon receipt by ACM, LLC of the subcontractors IC-134 forms (as required for project close-out).
