Item 04 <br />Logo Usage Guide & Implementation Plan <br />The City Council approved a new City logo on April 13, 2009. Please do no use either of the former City logos even if you <br />personally prefer them. It is important that the City use its new logo and brand consistently so that residents, businesses <br />and visitors start to equate Mounds View with its current image. <br />Logo Specifications <br />Spot Color PMS-34 7C <br />Process C-100, M-0, Y-90, K-0 <br />Font Lucida Bright, demi-bold (demi-bold is a unique stretch of the font) <br />Logo Usage Guidelines <br />• When placing font next to the logo, use either Lucida Bright in all caps or Arial in black font. <br />• Do not use the version of the City logo that has the words "City of' above the words "Mounds View". <br />• Black & white versions (see below) & different formats (eps, jpg, pdf) are saved in the All Users Drive. <br />MoUNiiffl.rav <br />Logo Implementation -Costs <br />Please immediately use the new logo on all items listed in on the chart on pages 2-4 (items that do not cost anything to <br />implement other than a brief amount of staff time). For updating items with the new logo that will incur a cost, please <br />obtain at least two quotes. Non-budgeted expenditures in excess of $2,500 (and anything in excess of $5,000, whether <br />budgeted or not) necessitates City Council approval. Any purchase in excess of $5,000 requires at least three quotes. <br />Note: Sometimes graphics people will not charge a fee to add a new logo if you are ordering new product anyway. Such <br />was the case when Administration ordered new City letterhead, envelopes and address labels and when Finance ordered <br />checks.
