Task Force <br /> • Meeting #15 <br /> July 6, 1978 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairperson P. Sargent. <br /> Attendance was taken and established that 14 members were present. At this <br /> date there are 28 active members and 4 inactive and 7 have resigned. <br /> P. Scott read minutes of 6/29/78 Task Force meeting. <br /> M/S/C minutes be adopted. (14 yes 0 no) <br /> Three Councilmembers were present, Mayor Pickar, R. Baumgartner and D. Hodges. <br /> P. Sargent suggested we wind up Task Force business two weeks from now. A <br /> motion was made but not carried. <br /> Above motion was amended to wind up Task Force as soon as possible. <br /> M/S/C (14 yes 0 no) <br /> Mayor Pickar indicated that the Councilmembers were present to answer any <br /> questions the Task Force might have. <br /> The Councilmembers were questioned about "Policy Guidelines". Mayor Pickar <br /> indicated the guidelines were not available. 2i1 <br /> There are now 15 members present. <br /> B. Abbott asked Mayor Pickar about exemption, on any storm sewer improvements , <br /> for senior citizens. Mayor Pickar thought it might be illegal to totally <br /> exempt anyone from payment. R. Baumgartner suggested asking the village <br /> attorney to give an opinion on this matter. <br /> Remarks by Councilmembers Rowley and Ziebarth as reported in the 5/22/78 <br /> Council meeting minutes, concerning exemptions for senior citizens, were read. <br /> D. Notaro indicated to the Councilmembers he was cautiously optimistic <br /> about help for his storm water problems. <br /> N. Loeding and P. Sargent indicated they will do what they can to complete <br /> this job, since it appears that the City engineer will not be able to finish <br /> work on the "pilot study" requested by the Task Force. <br /> The Councilmembers left at this time. We now have 16 members present. <br /> Discussions of B. Abbotts study ensued, about extra large lots , and exemptions <br /> of assessments. <br /> We now have 18 members present. <br /> • <br />
