Rm. C. <br /> Good news . . . the MV/NB Chamber of Commerce sent a check for$5,000 as requested. <br /> Festival was promised between $3,500 and 5,000. The Festival budget has reflected the <br /> conservative amount of$3,500. The additional $1,500 is enough to pay for 2 police officers for 9 <br /> hours plus the cost of 50 rental tables. There will be approximately $400 remaining so be thinking <br /> of ways that you wish to spend this - perhaps Committee T-shirts which had been removed from <br /> the budget earlier. Or, perhaps more entertainment or rented games like moonwalk. I'm sure the <br /> Festival Committee will not have a problem brainstorming ways to use the money. <br /> • Everything seems to be pulling together nicely. All your hard work is certainly appreciated. Case <br /> in point, Kathy Harrer has spent countless hours cutting coupons, sorting them and pinning them <br /> on the buttons. In addition, Kathy has been distributing buttons to businesses. <br /> Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting on Tuesday, July 1.
