Mounds View City Council March 9, 2026 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />Council Member Smith reiterated that there would be no penalty for federal agents operating in <br />the City, which led her to question why the City was passing this policy and ordinance in the first <br />place. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark stated it would serve as a tool and guide for the City. She reported the only <br />way to hold federal agents accountable was through the court system. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom explained the City does have the right to say who can and cannot use City <br />property. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 4 Nay – 1 (Smith) Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark reported she attended the fashion show at the Community Center. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark indicated she has been working on Project Kindness and providing mutual <br />aid to residents. She thanked all the volunteers that were making this project possible. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark noted she attended an event in Roseville where she got to speak about the <br />aid the City was providing for its residents. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark explained she would be attending a Mounds View Police Foundation <br />meeting on Tuesday, March 10 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark commented she would be attending the St. Patrick’s Day event at the <br />Community Center on Friday, March 13. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark thanked all the residents from the community that attended the Project <br />Ardan Yard and Garden expo on Saturday, March 7. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith noted she attended an airport commission meeting last week where she <br />learned both runways would be reconstructed, one at a time. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith reported on Friday, March 13 the Ramsey County League of Local <br />Government is going to visit the 911 communication center. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith indicated the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting next on <br />Tuesday, March 17 at the public works building at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked Project Ardan for putting on the yard and garden expo. He <br />stated this was a very successful event for the community. He explained the Lions provided food <br />at this event. <br />
