Mounds View City Council April 13, 2026 <br /> Regular Meeting Page 12 <br /> 1 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson reported 85 people have already registered <br /> 2 for the City-wide cleanup day. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson reviewed the proposed plans from Ramsey <br /> 5 County for Mounds View Boulevard at Spring Lake Road. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Council Member Clark requested staff speak with Ramsey County about a roundabout at this <br /> 8 intersection. Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson stated he would speak to the <br /> 9 County regarding this topic. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Mayor Lindstrom indicated he would like staff to speak with Open Gov and to pursue other options <br /> 12 for City purchasing. Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson indicated he has talked <br /> 13 to other vendors to see what options were available to the City. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Mayor Lindstrom questioned if the City survey should be put on pause at this time. Public <br /> 16 Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson stated it was Peter Leatherman and WSB's <br /> 17 recommendation to delay the community survey until the City holds a meeting with the school <br /> 18 district.He indicated the survey questions could then be refined prior to being sent out to the public <br /> 19 later this spring or early summer. The Council supported this recommendation. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Finance Director Bauman stated utility bills for the first quarter would be mailed out this week. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Finance Director Bauman indicated she should have a draft audit this week and an audit <br /> 24 presentation will be brought to the Council on Monday, May 11. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Assistant City Administrator Beeman stated the Hillview property closed, and the Mounds View <br /> 27 Blvd. property closing was postponed to Friday, April 24. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Assistant City Administrator Beeman explained Dunkin Donuts and Culvers were working on their <br /> 30 lease agreements and plans have not yet been submitted to the City.He commented further on how <br /> 31 businesses would be shuffling within Mounds View Square. It was his understanding the potholes <br /> 32 and upgrades would be made to the parking lot this year. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Assistant City Administrator Beeman reported the marijuana business on the old Fedora's site <br /> 35 received their Certificate of Occupancy. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Assistant City Administrator Beeman stated the senior living facility on Long Lake Road was <br /> 38 getting closer to submitting plans. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 10.
