Mounds View City Council April 13, 2026 Regular Meeting Page 12 1 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson reported 85 people have already registered 2 for the City-wide cleanup day. 3 4 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson reviewed the proposed plans from Ramsey 5 County for Mounds View Boulevard at Spring Lake Road. 6 7 Council Member Clark requested staff speak with Ramsey County about a roundabout at this 8 intersection. Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson stated he would speak to the 9 County regarding this topic. 10 11 Mayor Lindstrom indicated he would like staff to speak with Open Gov and to pursue other options 12 for City purchasing. Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson indicated he has talked 13 to other vendors to see what options were available to the City. 14 15 Mayor Lindstrom questioned if the City survey should be put on pause at this time. Public 16 Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson stated it was Peter Leatherman and WSB's 17 recommendation to delay the community survey until the City holds a meeting with the school 18 district.He indicated the survey questions could then be refined prior to being sent out to the public 19 later this spring or early summer. The Council supported this recommendation. 20 21 Finance Director Bauman stated utility bills for the first quarter would be mailed out this week. 22 23 Finance Director Bauman indicated she should have a draft audit this week and an audit 24 presentation will be brought to the Council on Monday, May 11. 25 26 Assistant City Administrator Beeman stated the Hillview property closed, and the Mounds View 27 Blvd. property closing was postponed to Friday, April 24. 28 29 Assistant City Administrator Beeman explained Dunkin Donuts and Culvers were working on their 30 lease agreements and plans have not yet been submitted to the City.He commented further on how 31 businesses would be shuffling within Mounds View Square. It was his understanding the potholes 32 and upgrades would be made to the parking lot this year. 33 34 Assistant City Administrator Beeman reported the marijuana business on the old Fedora's site 35 received their Certificate of Occupancy. 36 37 Assistant City Administrator Beeman stated the senior living facility on Long Lake Road was 38 getting closer to submitting plans. 39 40 10.
