RESOLUTION 10244 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVAL OF THE SANITARY SEWER LINE REHABILITATION - CIPP (CURED- <br /> IN-PLACE-PIPE) PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works has an inspection and maintenance program for the <br /> municipal sanitary sewer system, by televising and evaluating the condition of the pipes. <br /> Defects are logged while performing inspections, including cracks in the pipe and leaking <br /> joints; and <br /> WHEREAS, a priority list that ranks the segments of pipe requiring repair or <br /> remediation is maintained and determines which lines should be included in the Sanitary <br /> Sewer Rehabilitation Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works in conjunction with Stantec has prepared plans and <br /> specifications (bid documents) in house for use in obtaining public bids for the sanitary <br /> rehabilitation project; and <br /> WHEREAS, a virtual public bid opening was held on Tuesday, April 21 , 2026, at <br /> 2:OOpm with as the low bidder with a base bid of at <br /> $ ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the funding for these repairs is budgeted in the Sanitary Sewer fund, <br /> 730-4823-7050, which includes $500,000.00 for sewer pipe relining program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1 . The City hereby approves the bid from of <br /> for $ (base bid) for lining of the 2026 Sanitary Sewer <br /> Rehabilitation Project, City project 2026-004. <br /> 2. The City Council also approves Bid Alternates, _and _ for a total of <br /> 3. The City Council approves a 7% contingency of $ for <br /> any unforeseen issues that may arise during this project. For a total project cost <br /> not to exceed $500,000.00. <br /> 4.
