RESOLUTION NO. 10252 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR <br /> SOPHIA KITTELSON, PART TIME COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER (CSO) <br /> WHEREAS, Sophia Kittelson has resigned as Part Time Community Service <br /> Officer for the City of Mounds View; her last day of employment was May 13, 2026; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mounds View Personnel Policy 5.03 provides for payout of unused <br /> vacation, sick and compensatory time; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Kittelson had an estimated balance of accrued and unused <br /> vacation of 5.03 hours, compensatory time of 0.00 hours, and is not eligible for sick leave <br /> payout, as she worked less than two years; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Kittelson was being compensated at $29.96 per hour upon her <br /> resignation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br /> approves separation compensation to Sophia Kittelson consistent with Section 5.03 of <br /> the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: <br /> Hours Hourly rate Payout <br /> Vacation Hours 5.03 $29.96 $150.70 Cash Payout <br /> Comp Hours 0.00 $29.96 $ 0.00 Cash Payout <br /> 0 Sick Leave - Less 0.00 $29.96 $ 0.00 Cash Payout <br /> than 2 years' service <br /> Total Estimated Separation Compensation: $150.70 <br /> Adopted this 26t" day of May, 2026. <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
