<br />Item No: 5.D. <br />Meeting Date June 8, 2026 <br />Type of Business: Consent Agenda <br />Administrator review: _______ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Rayla Sue Ewald, Human Resource Director <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 10258 Authorizing Separation Compensation for Police Officer <br />Riley Solz <br /> Background <br />Police Officer Riley Solz resigned from the City of Mounds View effective June 4, 2026. Officer Solz was <br />employed by the City for 11 years (starting date February 2, 2015). Attached is Resolution 10258, <br />authorizing separation compensation to Officer Solz in accordance with the City’s Personnel Manual and <br />LELS Labor Agreement. <br /> Discussion <br />Section 2.11 of the City of Mounds View Personnel Manual and Article 23 of the LELS Labor Agreement <br />state employees with two (2) or more years of service will contribute their vacation, comp time and eligible <br />sick leave hours to the Retirement Health Savings Plan.
