Mounds View City Council June 6, 2026 <br />Regular Meeting Page 7 <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom stated last Friday he attended a clemency meeting where the group received a 1 <br />presentation on brain injuries. He explained he would be attending a board of pardons meeting 2 <br />later this week. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Mayor Lindstrom reported on Friday, June 12 he would be celebrating his 16th wedding 5 <br />anniversary. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Mayor Lindstrom wished all fathers a Happy Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Mayor Lindstrom commented on the Juneteenth event which would be held on Friday, June 19 at 10 <br />City Hall Park from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. noting there would be a bounce house, music, hot dogs 11 <br />and drinks. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Mayor Lindstrom thanked Tara and Christa for their efforts to manage the City-wide garage sale. 14 <br /> 15 <br /> B. Reports of Staff. 16 <br /> 17 <br />City Administrator Zikmund explained the City was still working to hire a Finance Director. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson stated those interested in applying for a 20 <br />community garden plot could apply online or at the Community Center beginning tomorrow. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson explained the community survey was 23 <br />underway and the Council would be reviewing the survey results on Monday, June 29. 24 <br /> 25 <br />10.
