Mounds View City Council July 27, 2026 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />B. Resolution 10279, Authorization to Close Out the 2025 Street Project. <br /> <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council authorize the close <br />out of the 2025 Street Project. He explained Northwest Asphalt had this project substantially <br />completed in October of 2025 and staff continues to work with the contractor on punch list <br />items. Staff requested the Council authorize the close out and final payment for the 2025 Street <br />Project. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Clark. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10279, <br />Authorization to Close Out the 2025 Street Project. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 10280, Approval of a Professional Preferred Alcohol Vendor <br />Service Agreement. <br /> <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council approve a <br />professional preferred alcohol vendor service agreement for banquets and other functions at the <br />Mounds View Community Center. He explained staff sent proposals to six different vendors and <br />three vendors responded. Staff recommended the Council approve the three preferred vendors for <br />the Mounds View Community Center. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark asked if the City had preferred vendors in the past. Public Works/Parks <br />and Recreation Director Peterson explained the City has not had preferred alcohol vendors in the <br />past. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith questioned if the Festival in the Park Committee would have to select on <br />of these vendors for the Festival in the Park. Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director <br />Peterson reported these vendors were separate from the Festival in the Park. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Clark/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10280, <br />Approval of a Professional Preferred Alcohol Vendor Service Agreement. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith reported in June of 2016 the City Council voted to rename the portion of <br />County Road 10 that runs through Mounds View to Mounds View Boulevard. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark stated she attended the Park, Rec and Forestry meeting last week noting <br />the group discussed the park master plan. She thanked the public works team for all of their <br />efforts on the new signs in the City’s parks. <br />
