<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5659 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S DENIAL OF A <br />VARIANCE FOR REDUCED LOT WIDTHS WITHIN A WETLAND ZONING DISTRICT; <br />PLANNING CASE NO. VR01-01 0 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Keith Harstad applied for a variance to allow for reduced lot widths <br />within a wetland zoning district on ten of eleven proposed lots in the Longview Estates <br />major subdivision south of County Road H2 and east of Silver Lake Road; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the subject parcel is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 4, Block 1, Mueller Addition <br />Ramsey County, State of Minnesota <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the minimum lot width for single-family residential lots within a <br />wetland zoning district is 125 feet; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the applicant is proposing six 1 OO-foot wide lots, one 95-foot wide <br />lot, one 90-foot wide lot and two 80-foot wide lots; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 17, 2001, the Planning Commission held a public <br />hearing and received resident, applicant and staff input regarding this request; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 7, 2001, the Planning Commission approved <br />Resolution 678-01, a resolution denying the variance requested by Mr, Harstad due to <br />a lack of demonstrated hardship; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 13,2001, the applicant submitted a written appeal, <br />requesting that the City Council overturn the Planning Commission's denial; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 10, 2001, the City Council held a public hearing <br />regarding this appeal; and, <br />
