Introduction of Mark Erickson, St. Anthony's newest Firefighter. John Malenick <br />presenting. <br />Fire Chief Malenick introduced Mark Erickson, the City's newest firefighter, and stated Mr. <br />Erickson joined the Fire Department in 2005 as a part-time paid on call firefighter and went on to <br />complete the two-year firefighter training program. He stated Mr. Erickson is also trained as a <br />paramedic. He offered his congratulations to Mr. Erickson and welcomed him to the City. <br />Mr. Erickson expressed thanks for the opportunity to serve the City of St. Anthony and stated he <br />is excited to be here. He also expressed a special thank you to the Fire Chief and everyone on <br />the Fire Department for their support. <br />Mayor Faust stated that Mr. Erickson's training as a paramedic will provide an added benefit <br />because of the City'S aging population.
