Proclamation for Night to Unite on August 5, 2014. <br />Councilmember Roth recited the Proclamation for Night to Unite on August 5, 2014. <br />CONSENT AGENDA. <br />A. Consider July 8, 2014, Council meeting minutes; <br />B. Consider licenses and permits, and <br />C. Consider ayment of claims. <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve the Consent <br />Agenda items. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - NONE. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />19 V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF - NONE. <br />20 <br />21 VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. <br />22 <br />23 A. Massage Business License Suspension for Tropical Treat Massage located at 2500 <br />24 Highway 88. Mark Casey, City Manager, presenting. <br />25 <br />26 City Manager Casey presented the recommendation for suspension of the Massage Business <br />27 License for Tropical Treat Massage for the time between July 1, 2014, until final determination <br />28 of the applicant's guilt or innocence stemming from his July 1, 2014, arrest charge. <br />29 <br />30 Councilmember Stille asked if further action would be required by the City Council if the <br />31 applicant is found guilty. <br />32 <br />33 City Manager Casey stated if the applicant is found guilty prior to renewal of the license, then <br />34 the City Council would be required to take further action and if the applicant is found guilty after <br />35 the renewal date, the license would not be renewed. He stated if the applicant is found not <br />36 guilty, then the suspension is lifted. <br />37 <br />38 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to suspend the Massage <br />39 Business License for Tropical Treat Massage for the time between July 1, 2014, and the final <br />40 determination of the applicant's guilt or innocence. <br />41 <br />42 Motion carried 4-0. <br />43 <br />44 B. Resolution 14-053: a Resolution Approving the Contract Agreement for Police Services <br />45 with the City of Falcon Heights for the Years 2015-2019 and Authorizes the Mayor and <br />46 City Manager to Execute Said Agreement.
