1 >get copies of data collected by the Girl Scouts for their his- <br />torical cook book, which is available at the St. Anthony Library, <br />including audio tapes; <br />4 >make gathering of historical information an ongoing process with <br />5 meetings of the Committee scheduled at least once every year. <br />6 The residents who had contacted the City following the article in the <br />7 Bulletin included: <br />8 Joan Nowlan, 3533 - 37th Avenue N.E. <br />9 Bob Ernt, 2420 - 27th AVenue N.E. <br />10 Iry Peterson, 2900 Crestview Drive <br />11 Bernice Kuure, 3331 Skycroft Drive <br />12 Mary Ann Baker, 3209 Roosevelt Street N.E. <br />13 Dora Letourneau, 2601 Kenzie Terrace, #216 <br />14 Mike and Kim Volna, 2905 Silver Lake Road <br />15 Other persons who had indicated a desire to serve on the Committee had <br />16 been Councilmember Judy Makowske, Kim Johnson, and Florence Marks. Mr. <br />17 Childs will be contacting Robert Davies, 3001 - 29th Avenue N.E., and <br />18 Ruth Harris, former St. Anthony Librarian. <br />19 Council Action <br />20 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Enrooth to accept the mission and the <br />21 membership on the St. Anthony Historical Committee as discussed during <br />the Council's August 23rd meeting. <br />23 Motion carried unanimously. <br />24 Music Shell Plannina to be Responsibility of Council and Staff <br />25 The only response from the Bulletin and City Newsletter articles on the <br />26 above which had run right next to the story about the Historical <br />27 Committee had been from Ed Ostberg, 2704 Murray Avenue N.E. Florence <br />28 Marks' name had been previously offered by her husband. Mr. Childs <br />29 suggested it might be better for the Council and staff to do the <br />30 preliminary planning for the project with input from the two residents <br />31 and then to look for residents to work on the final plans and construc- <br />32 tion once the initial research had been completed. <br />33 NEW BUSINESS <br />34 Foss Road Lift Station Contracts to be Awarded September 27th <br />35 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Marks to adopt the resolution which <br />36 approves the plans and specifications for the replacement of the Foss <br />37 Road sewage pumping station and meter vault and orders the <br />38 advertisement bids on the project with bids to be taken until 10:00 <br />39 A.M., September 21st. Contracts would be awarded during the Council's <br />A0 September 27th meeting. <br />FC! <br />
