City Council Regular Meeting Minutes November 25, 2014 Page 5 1 Mayor Faust referenced the assistance provided by the League of Minnesota Cities and believed 2 that once completed all cities involved should sign a thank you letter to the League for their 3 assistance. 4 5 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to adopt Resolution 14- 6 076; a resolution approving a Joint Cooperative Agreement for Use of Law Enforcement 7 Personnel and Equipment. 9 Motion carried unanimously. 10 11 D. Resolution 14-077; a resolution Ratifying the 2015-2016 Agreement between the City of 12 St. Anthony Village and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 49, AFL - 13 CIO, representing the St. Anthony Village Public Works Department. 14 15 City Manager Mark Casey reviewed the resolution with the Council and indicated proposed 16 increases and adjustments. 17 18 Mayor Faust confirmed that these contracts are similar to those agreed upon recently with the 19 Police Union. 20 21 Motion by Councilmember Roth, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to adopt Resolution 14- 22 077; a resolution Ratifying the 2015-2016 2016 Agreement between the City of St. Anthony 23 Village and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 49, AFL-CIO, representing 24 the St. Anthony Village Public Works Department. 25 26 Motion carried unanimously. 27 28 E. Resolution 14-078, a resolution Ratifying the 2015-1016 Agreement between the City of 29 St. Anthony Village and International Association of Firefighters, Local 3486, 30 Representing, the St. Anthony Village Fire Department. 31 32 City Manager Mark Casey reviewed the resolution with the Council and indicated that these 33 contracts are very similar to those just approved with the Public Works and Police Unions, 34 highlighting proposed increases and adjustments. 35 36 Councilmember Stille commended staff for their efforts during the contract negotiation process 37 with all three unions. 38 39 Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to adopt Resolution 14- 40 078; a resolution Ratifying the 2015-1016 Agreement between the City of St. Anthony Village 41 and International Association of Firefighters, Local 3486, Representing the St. Anthony Village 42 Fire Department. 43 44 _Motion carried unanimously. 45 46 F. Resolution 14-079, a resolution approving the 2015 fees set by resolution.
