ANTHONY FOR 1976 <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilman Sauer noted that the Planning Board had designated the entire <br />Council Chambers as a noon -smoking area and recommended that the Council follow <br />their example in complying with regulations set by the State Legislature. <br />Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to designate the <br />entire City Chambers as a non-smoking area. <br />Voting on the motion: <br />Aye: Sauer, Miedtke, Stauffer, Haik <br />Nay: Sundland <br />Motion carried. <br />The meeting was recessed from 8:00 to 8:05 P.M. and reconvened to discuss the <br />MTC request for specific designation of bus stops along Silver Lake Road. The <br />Mayor ruled there was no need for action by the Council. Mr. Dulgar then told <br />of the inadegifacy of the machine which the Maintenance Dept. uses for plowing <br />the walkways. Councilman He ik requested that the areas in front of all bus <br />stops also be cleared of snow and ice. <br />Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to reappoint the <br />seven members of the Planning Board for 1976. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilman Sauer then reappointed Sherry Good and Joan Patterson to serve on <br />the Human Relations Committee for 1976. Councilman Haik reappointed Far] Scott <br />and Judy Makowske and Mayor Miedtke reappointed Stephanie Subak and Terry <br />Hoffman to the Committee. <br />
