Page 4 <br />The Fire and Police Reports for November were filed. <br />Mayor "lied ke reminded the other members of tha Council cf' the meeting of the <br />Association of Metro Municipalities c.: January 8th in Brooklyn Center at <br />which the group's legislative pollcyvvuld be determined. <br />Jim Fornell then discussed his January 6th rime regarding the application pro- <br />cedures, requirements and deadiinrs which must be met for the City to obtain <br />a possible allocation of funds under :.'r:e 1x76 Community Development Block <br />r;rant preg am. The Council then di!:cucsed ways in which the City residents <br />nigh; be informed cf the grant and encouraged to make proposals for the use <br />OF the funds. <br />Motion by Councilnan Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Haik to set Public <br />Hearings ^gardi.ng the application for funds under the 1976 Community Develop- <br />ment Grant for from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the joint meeting of the Council and <br />Planning Board, January 26, 1916 and at 8:00 P.M. at the regular Council <br />meeting January 27th, and to direct the City Manager to contact heads of all <br />known City civic organizations as well as churches and schools in the City to <br />request they publicize these hearings and.urge participation by their <br />memberships. <br />Motion carried unaninpousiy. <br />Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to approve <br />payment of all verified claims listed in the January 6, 1976 agenda. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Councilman Sundland , seconded by Councilman Haik to adjourn the <br />meeting at 8:25 P.M. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />/q Payor <br />ATTEST: <br />Clerer <br />k <br />
