Page 5 <br />Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to adopt <br />Resolution 75-016. <br />RESOLUTION 76-016 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMBERSHIP IN A <br />SUBURBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY MUNICIPAL <br />ORGANIZATION <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Haik to <br />approve the extension of Route #1 by the MTC and to request the Manager <br />to work out the details with them of where the bus could be parked <br />near Medtronics. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Sauer to table <br />action on the sports stadium. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />The information regarding accomodations for the IMM convention was <br />filed. <br />The Annual Police & Fire reports <br />discussed with special attention <br />as the program designed to solve <br />the community. <br />as well as those for January 1976 were <br />given to the Ride Along Policy as well <br />the problem of unleashed dogs in <br />Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sauer to <br />commend the Fire Department for the excellence of their annual report. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />The report on Hockey and Skating Rinks for 1976 was ordered filed. <br />Mr. Vickrey discussed the Dorsey Firm's annual prosecution report <br />and told the Council about the efforts being made by a new young <br />prosecutor to acquaint himself with the city. He also gave a progress <br />report on the Michaeloff litigation. Mayor Miedtke suggested that <br />there might be some provisions included in the new zoning ordinance <br />which might facilitate the solving of future similar incidents citing <br />the storing of a fish house on an empty lot on Belden Drive as an <br />example. <br />Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Haik to grant <br />all licenses listed in the March 9, 1976 agenda including the wine <br />license for Vincenzo's subject to their meeting all applicable local <br />and state requirements. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to approve <br />payment of $905.15 to Soil Exploration Company for testing on 29th Avenue. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />
