1 <br />Councilmember Brever reported on her attendance at the Family Services Collaborative Board 2 <br />meeting on April 30th and the City Council work session on May 4th. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Councilmember Jenson reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2nd. He also 5 <br />reported on his attendance at the St. Anthony Community Center Advisory Council meeting on 6 <br />May 7th and the City Council work session on May 4th. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Councilmember Stille reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2nd and the 9 <br />City Council work session on May 4th. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Councilmember Gray provided an update on behalf of the North Suburban Communications 12 <br />Commission and reported that the Comcast merger with Time Warner has been called off and the 13 <br />Communications Commission is continuing to pursue a franchise agreement with CenturyLink. 14 <br />He reported on his attendance at the VillageFest committee meeting on May 11th and stated there 15 <br />is no golf tournament planned this year. He added the committee is looking for volunteers to 16 <br />help and if interested, residents can send an email to StAnthonyVillageFest@gmail.com. He 17 <br />also reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2nd. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Mayor Faust reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2nd. He also reported 20 <br />on his attendance at a work session on May 11th with the Rice Creek Watershed District. He 21 <br />reported on his attendance at the May 12th MWMO board meeting and was pleased to announce 22 <br />that the St. Anthony Village regional storm water treatment plant has been fully funded at its 23 <br />estimated cost of $1,650,000 and should begin construction next month. He advised that the 24 <br />MWMO Board also approved a contract with the Freshwater Society called Master Water 25 <br />Stewards, a program based on the Master Gardeners program and MWMO will be providing 26 <br />guidance to groups wanting to participate in sustainability activities and the program provides a 27 <br />way for the public to get involved in understanding water issues. 28 <br /> 29 <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that 32 <br />are not on the regular agenda. Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. 33 <br /> 34 <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Mayor Faust stated that a recent Met Council publication contains a picture of the City’s water 37 <br />reuse facility. 38 <br /> 39 <br />X.
