1 Councilmember Brever reported on her attendance at the Family Services Collaborative Board 2 meeting on April 30th and the City Council work session on May 4th. 3 4 Councilmember Jenson reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2nd. He also 5 reported on his attendance at the St. Anthony Community Center Advisory Council meeting on 6 May 7th and the City Council work session on May 4th. 7 8 Councilmember Stille reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2nd and the 9 City Council work session on May 4th. 10 11 Councilmember Gray provided an update on behalf of the North Suburban Communications 12 Commission and reported that the Comcast merger with Time Warner has been called off and the 13 Communications Commission is continuing to pursue a franchise agreement with CenturyLink. 14 He reported on his attendance at the VillageFest committee meeting on May 11th and stated there 15 is no golf tournament planned this year. He added the committee is looking for volunteers to 16 help and if interested, residents can send an email to StAnthonyVillageFest@gmail.com. He 17 also reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2nd. 18 19 Mayor Faust reported on his attendance at the spring cleanup day on May 2nd. He also reported 20 on his attendance at a work session on May 11th with the Rice Creek Watershed District. He 21 reported on his attendance at the May 12th MWMO board meeting and was pleased to announce 22 that the St. Anthony Village regional storm water treatment plant has been fully funded at its 23 estimated cost of $1,650,000 and should begin construction next month. He advised that the 24 MWMO Board also approved a contract with the Freshwater Society called Master Water 25 Stewards, a program based on the Master Gardeners program and MWMO will be providing 26 guidance to groups wanting to participate in sustainability activities and the program provides a 27 way for the public to get involved in understanding water issues. 28 29 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 30 31 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that 32 are not on the regular agenda. Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. 33 34 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. 35 36 Mayor Faust stated that a recent Met Council publication contains a picture of the City’s water 37 reuse facility. 38 39 X.
