I CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 SEPTEMBER 22, 2015 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Brever, Gray, Jenson, and Stille. <br />16 Absent: None <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Chris Fuller & Mattie Jaros — St. Anthony Fire <br />18 Department <br />19 <br />20 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />21 ITEMS. <br />22 <br />23 I. APPROVAL OF THE SEPTEMBER 22, 2015, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />24 <br />25 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />26 Council Meeting Agenda of September 22, 2015. <br />27 <br />28 Motion carried unanimouslv. <br />29 <br />30 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS <br />31 <br />32 A. Presentation by Tom Miller, St. Anthony Kiwanis <br />33 <br />34 Mr. Tom Miller, St. Anthony Kiwanis introduced Michael Kirschling, Tom Rapacz, and Jack <br />35 Kiefner who all were in attendance at the meeting. Michael Kirschling thanked the community <br />36 as well as their past support for the St. Anthony Kiwanis over the years. Monies raised are used <br />37 to support numerous community projects. Peanut Day in St. Anthony is the Kiwanis number one <br />38 source of income. The Kiwanis support two St. Anthony High School scholarships, K -Kids in <br />39 elementary school, Builders Club in middle school, Key Club in high school, and Action Club in <br />40 the Community Center. This year will be the 44`x' year Kiwanis has held annual Peanut Day in St. <br />41 Anthony. Peanut Day started in 1951 in the Chicago area. Kiwanis International is also <br />42 celebrating their 1000' year. Mr. Kirschling thanked the City Council for their support on behalf <br />43 of all the Kiwanis. <br />44 <br />45 Mayor Faust thanked the Kiwanis representatives. <br />46 <br />47 B. Proclamation for St. Anthony Peanut Day Friday, September 250i 2015. <br />48 <br />49 Councilmember Jenson presented the Proclamation for St. Anthony Peanut Day Friday, <br />50 September 25, 2015. <br />
