ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />NOVEMBER 24, 2015 3 <br /> 4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 7 <br /> 8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br /> 12 <br />ROLL CALL. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Brever, Gray, Jenson and Stille 15 <br />Absent: None 16 <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey and Police Sgt. Jeff Spiess 17 <br /> 18 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 19 <br />ITEMS. 20 <br /> 21 <br />I. APPROVAL OF THE NOVEMBER 24, 2015, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City 24 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of November 24, 2015. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Motion carried unanimously. 27 <br /> 28 <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS 29 <br /> 30 <br />A. Presentation of 2015 Fire Prevention Poster Winners, presented by the St. Anthony Fire 31 <br /> Department 32 <br /> 33 <br />Chief Mark Sitarz and Captain Chris Fuller presented the 2015 Fire Prevention Poster Winners. 34 <br />The contest has been going on for over 20 years. There were a couple hundred submissions for 35 <br />the contest. The theme was “Hear the Beep – Where you Sleep”. The winners were: 36 <br /> 37 <br />4th Place – Nevin Nguyen – 4th Grade Wilshire Park 38 <br />3rd Place – Violet Urdahl – 5th Grade Wilshire Park 39 <br />2nd Place – Aislyn Saravia – 5th Grade Wilshire Park 40 <br />1sr Place – Alayna Peterson – 5th Grade Wilshire Park 41 <br /> 42 <br />Photographs were taken of all winners with Mayor Faust. 43 <br /> 44 <br />Mayor Faust stated he is grateful for the young children growing up in the community.
