ANTHONY <br />HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEETING <br />July 27, 2004 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 Chair Hodson called the meeting to order at 8:24 p.m. <br />7 <br />8 ROLL CALL. <br />9 Commissioners present: Chair Hodson; Commissioners Horst, Stille, Thuesen, and Faust. <br />10 Commissioners absent: None. <br />11 Also present: Executive Director Michael Morrison and City Attorney Jerome <br />12 Gilligan. <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 I. APPROVAL OF July 13, 2004 H.R.A. AGENDA. <br />16 Motion by Commissioner Stille, seconded by Commissioner Faust, to Approve the H.R.A. <br />17 Agenda of July 27, 2004. <br />18 <br />19 Motion carried unanimously. <br />20 <br />21 II. CONSENT AGENDA. <br />22 A. Approve July 13. 2004 H.R.A.prove July 2004 H.R.AMeeting Minutes. <br />23 B. Claims. <br />Motion by Commissioner Horst, seconded by Commissioner Stille, to Approve the Consent <br />Agenda. <br />26 <br />27 Motion carried unanimously. <br />28 <br />29 III. PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br />30 None. <br />31 <br />32 IV. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE H.R.A. <br />33 None. <br />34 <br />35 V. STAFF REPORTS. <br />36 City Manager Morrison reported the following: <br />37 1. Staff is currently working with La Nel on the Kenzie Terrace re -development <br />38 which has been delayed due to financing and their waiting for market conditions <br />39 to change. The City has a purchase agreement with them, in which they will close <br />40 this fall, and own the property having two years to complete the re -development. <br />41 If they wish to sell the property, the City will have the first right of refusal by <br />42 buying it back at the price it was sold. Staff updates will be coming. <br />43 2. Contact with Mr. Winkels has been made. He will be present at the August 10, <br />44 2004 Council meeting to present the restaurant alternatives for Silver Lake <br />Development. <br />16 3. The Annual League Conference will be held in October in Duluth. Those <br />47 attending need to register. <br />48 <br />
