-3- a <br /> 6 . The Reserve shall hold organizational and/or business meetings <br /> as are necessary. Policies and regulations governing administra- <br /> tive and ministerial duties of the Reserve may be promulgated by <br /> a majority vote of the Reserve , but are subject to the approval <br /> of the Chief of Police. <br /> 7 . The Reserve Unit is not to exceed twelve people. <br /> 8 . The City will not pay anj direct monetary compensation for duty <br /> as a Police Reserve Officer. <br /> Article IV - Training: <br /> 1. The City will provide and pay the cost of the following pieces <br /> . . of equipment for every Reserve Officer: <br /> a. ' black (or dark navy) uniform cap (summer style) , <br /> b. black (or dark navy) uniform cap (winter style) , <br /> C. black (or -dark navy) jackets (or parkas) with the St. Anthony <br /> Police Department patch on left sleeve and Reserve rocker over <br /> the patch, <br /> d. one St. Anthony Police Department Reserve cap badge and one <br /> jacket (.shirt) badge, <br /> e. one flashlight with holder and one pair of handcuffs with case, <br /> • f. Chemical spray in container with case . <br /> 2 . Reserve Officers must provide and pay the cost of the following <br /> pieces of equipment: <br /> a. light blue shirt (blouse) with Reserves bars on each collar <br /> and patches on sleeve, <br /> b. black (or dark navy) uniform trousers (slacks) , <br /> c. black leather shoes or uniform boots, <br /> d. black leather belt with key holder, baton and holder. (Leather <br /> must be basket weave style) , <br /> e. dark colored gloves, <br /> f . necktie (male/female style) . <br /> The City will provide replacement shirts or blouses and trousers ,or <br /> slacks, when necessary, provided the Reserve Officer has completed <br /> at least one year of service with the St. Anthony Police Reserve. <br /> 3. Reserve Officers are responsible for the care and condition of their <br /> • equipment, and are required to wear a suitable uniform when on duty. <br /> 4 . Upon resignation or termination, all issued equipment is to be turned <br /> in to the Chief of Police . <br />
