He a lso noted there <br /> had been some reduction in other liquor stores ' sales since - the ware-- <br /> house opened, but indicated -he is certain that at least the trend <br /> towards diminished- profits would be� turned- around-by the end of the., <br /> yea.r,�. - Councilman Ranallo commented that he would certainly hope to <br /> 'see the net figures improved. because of the new operation. <br /> The Fire Department report, liquor sales. summary for January, and <br />'p the February 7th staff notes were then ordered filed as informational. <br /> The Mayor noted that Volunteer Week would be. observed the week of <br /> May 6-13th and :suggested the annual work session with the various ' <br /> =- <br /> -volunteer- committees which s-e:r-tee the City could .be.. held 'that week. ; <br /> The notice of the mediation meeting :with Local #320 which had been <br /> held that morning had been- included in the agenda packet and Mr. <br /> Childs indicated he would like to get Council feedback ,on that and <br /> several other labor negotiations which are in progress during a <br /> private session--after the mee•ting,that evening.: In his F.ebr:uary.. 9th - <br /> memorandum, the Manager had given the reasons- he recommended continua- <br /> tion of the City' s contract with the Labor Relations Subscribers_ <br /> Services . <br /> ;Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to . <br /> adopt the resolution which renews the contract with the Labor Relations <br /> Subscribers Services at an annual cost of $1, 110 . <br /> RESOLUTION 84-013 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING 'A PROGRAM OF TECHNICAL <br /> ASSISTANCE IN LABOR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS <br /> PROVIDED BY' LABOR RELATIONS- ASSOCIATES , INC. FOR <br /> CALENDAR YEAR 1984 <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr.. . Childs reported in his February 9th memorandum that only one <br /> person had applied to fill the vacancy on the East Side Hennepin County <br /> Human Services; . two had indicated an interest in serving along, with <br /> Councilman Enrooth as resident member of the Rice Creek Watershed, <br /> -District Citizens 509 Task Force, and no one had applied,_to serve on. <br /> PACAC. He had suggested whoever was not appointed to the task force <br /> ' toe — ��should be invited 3t -M <br /> � .
