CITY OF ST. Both the Health Department and
Layne Minnesota have recommended the use of concrete grout filling, rather than a
partial pea rock fill .
The Minnesota Geological Survey calipered Well #2, which gave us the opportunity
to determine a close estimation on the cubic yards of grout needed.
Layne Minnesota has submitted a quotation of $3,741 .00 (see attached) for the con-
crete grout, equipment and some of the labor. The Public Works Department will
supply some of the labor, which holds the cost down somewhat.
FISCAL IMPACT:
ALTERNATIVES :
RECOMMENDATION:
CITY MANAGER'S REVIEW: COMMENTS s' ( 18 4 COQ
kift" Mic"
