• <br /> 7. Non;-Emergency Use . of HMRV. .•.Each, party may -use the .vehicle • for training <br /> of its own -personnel and .display purposes. The requesting party:shall, be <br /> responsible for . providing an operat-or to drive the vehicle between <br /> Fridley and the vehicle 's- destination. The requesting party must advise <br /> Anoka County 'Emergency Communications. Center of the , vehicle 's status in <br /> the event it is needed at an emergency. ­It if• is summoned during a non- <br /> emergency use, the party having it shall respond, the- unit to the <br /> emergency scene with at least two firefighters. <br /> 8. Contamination of HMRV. A' party using. the HMRV- :with resulting <br /> contamination to the vehicle and/or its equipment , producing a possible <br /> personal hazard to _ ' unprotected - persons, is "responsible for <br /> decontaminating the vehicle. and/or' equipment so that no' personal. .hazard <br /> exists. Decontamination expenses shall be borne solely by the party <br /> which used .the vehicle causing the contamination condition. <br /> 9. Cost of Consumable or Expended Supplies. All items of supply, equipment, <br /> or protective gear on the vehicle which were consumed, expended or <br /> rendered unfit for further use, at an incident or other activity by a <br /> party shall be promptly replaced by that using party at its sole expense. <br /> 10. Personnel Training. Each party shall be responsible for the training of <br /> its own personnel in, the proper use, storage and maintenance of the <br /> equipment and protective gear in the HMRV. To assure a reasonable <br /> standard of care and proper usage of the equipment, each party shall <br /> designate a training officer for this purpose. They shall be responsible <br /> for developing guidelines acceptable to all parties governing proper use <br /> of equipment, storage of equipment in the vehicle, and necessary <br /> equipment maintenance. <br /> 11 . Non-Exclusive HMRV Use. It is understood that each party is obliged to <br /> respond to fire service emergencies outside its own corporate service <br /> boundaries, and such activities may necessitate use of the HMRV. The <br /> parties understand that the vehicle may not be available when needed <br /> within their own respective primary response districts due to the <br /> vehicle's prior commitment. However, in such situations, the party using <br /> the HMRV will use its best effort to make the vehicle available, if <br /> possible, to the party needing it on an emergency basis. <br /> 12. Supervision of HMRV at an Emergency. The party requesting the HMRV shall <br /> be responsible for its use. Personnel responding with the vehicle will <br /> report with the vehicle to the requesting party's designated officer and <br /> be subject to that officer 's directions. If the event use of. the HMRV at <br /> an ' emergency is .expected to last more than one hour, the requesting party <br /> shall supply its . own personnel as substitutes for the driver and <br /> attendants on the HMRV, and transport those initial .responders back to <br /> their own 'station. <br /> • <br /> -3- <br />
