Liesch Associates as the City' s share of consulting costs <br /> incurred in December in conjunction with the establishment of expert <br /> testimony related to identification of - the plume of contamination <br /> between New Brighton and St. Anthony. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> REPORTS <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Mayor Reports Awards to the City <br /> Mayor Sundland displayed the plaque which had been presented to him and <br /> to Councilmember Marks when they attended the grand opening ceremonies <br /> for the Chandler Place retirement apartments in December. The <br /> inscrip.tion .expressed the project- owners ' appreciation of the role St. <br /> Anthony had played "in making the Chandler Place Retirement Center <br /> dream a reality, and in the years ahead, enabling many people to <br /> continue living an increasingly joyful and active life. " <br /> The Mayor then circulated the Certificate of Appreciation he and <br /> Councilmember Ranallo had received December 19th from the Hennepin <br /> County Board of Commissioners. The certificate acknowledged the City' s <br /> "initiative in implementing the local recycling program and moving, <br /> towards the County' s recycling goals. " <br />., Year End Greetings Exchanged <br /> Mayor Sundland concluded his report by extending his and his wife' s, <br /> Ardelle, wishes for a Happy -New Year to all those present. The other <br /> Councilmembers responded in kind. <br />
