Remodeling Cost (by Public Works) <br /> • Lower ceiling: $600.00 <br /> • Materials: sheet rock, lumber, and door: $250.00 <br /> • Miscellaneous supplies: $250.00 <br /> • Smoked glass panes: $150.00 <br /> 3. Install Central Air Conditioning <br /> * 3-1/2 ton central air conditioners set pad; ducting to split offices <br /> so they can control their own thermostats (2) ; 12 lay-in type ceiling <br /> diffusers and return air grills; one year warranty on parts and <br /> labor: $6,690.00 <br /> 4. Carpet <br /> * Public Works will remove old carpet. <br /> * 198-1/3 yards of Logo commercial grade carpet at $6.99 per yard with <br /> material for installation: $1,416.32 <br /> * Labor to install carpet: $644.57 <br /> City offices can be remodeled for approximately $11,075.89. <br /> This total does not include any changes to the inner offices with the <br /> exception of central air, nor the remodeling of the restrooms. <br /> Additionally, in the event City offices are every relocated, the proposed <br /> central air system can be removed and re-installed. <br /> cjk <br />
