Those present were Carol Johnson, <br /> Dave Childs, Lee Entner, Larry Hamer, Ray Nelson, and Connie <br /> Kroeplin. Don. Hickerson was absent. <br /> Carol Johnson <br /> 1 . The 1987 audit has been completed. <br /> 2. Mrs. Johnson has attended the last finance/clerk meetings <br /> before she retires. <br /> 3 . The last meeting of the National Institute of Government <br /> Purchasing was held in Duluth and included a tour of a handicapped <br /> • facility where those persons perform jobs, some of which are <br /> contracted by the government. <br /> 4. The vault has been cleaned, files purged, and rearranged. <br /> 5. There will 'be a mailing to all St. Anthony residents next <br /> week. The mailing will include pamphlets with information on the <br /> new voting machines, recycling, and the off-sale liquor operations. <br /> 6. Mrs. Johnson has 4-1/2 working days remaining as Finance <br /> Director. <br /> Lee Butner <br /> 1. Chief Entner intends to schedule an introduction of the new <br /> Fire Reserves to the Council as soon as their training is' completed <br /> in the fall. <br /> Hamer <br /> 1. Mr. Hamer commended the fine job Lila Johnson is doing to <br /> train the newest staff member, Judy Monson. <br /> 2. He has received two quotes for a new roof for the fire <br /> station, which will be on the Council's next agenda. <br /> • 1 <br />
