The Emergency Preparedness Plan has been returned to the <br /> City by the County to include the City's own modifications. <br /> Ray Nelson <br /> 1. Mr. Nelson expressed concern about the signage at SAV I, <br /> saying people can't see the business is there with the present <br /> signage. Mr. Childs asked him to prepare -a sign plan for the <br /> site. <br /> 2. Negotiations with C. G. Rein for Apache Wells are <br /> continuing. Mr. Nelson indicated that the study and proposal for <br /> the future of Apache Wells would be complete in 30 days. <br /> Larry Samer <br /> 1. Work on the medians is finished for this year. • <br /> 2. The new home at 35th and Belden Drive is almost finished. <br /> There are less than a dozen residential lots left to build on in <br /> the Village. <br /> 3. The heater at the new carbon filtration plant is working <br /> just fine. <br /> 4. City streets will be swept (leaves, etc. ) until it snows. <br /> 5. There has been a large amount of vandalism occurring at <br /> Silver Point Park this summer. Mr. Hamer will document the <br /> occurrences. Also, exterior entrances to the restrooms will be <br /> constructed at the parks next spring. <br /> 6. The Village will have 2 hockey and .3 recreational skating <br /> rinks this winter. <br /> 7. Slabs are being replaced on some of the City's concrete <br /> roads. <br /> 8. Ramsey County has scheduled Silver Lake Road from 37th <br /> Avenue N.E. to County Road E for overlay. The City look at will <br /> overlay of some of its roads using MSA funds. <br />
