MINUTES NORTH SUBURBAN CABLE COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 5, 1989 PAGE 5 MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS - These items were not changed from last months report as they were not discussed due to the more important issues on the table: RELEASE - The company has asked for release from all past transgressions. Mr. Creighton pointed out that there is a difference from releasing the company from things that are known about at a later point. The details of this release have not been worked out. A great deal of discussion was held regarding the recommended take over date of January 1, 1990 and everything that needs to be done before that date. It was felt that work shops were needed prior to the next commission meeting and that prior to approval by the commission, the commissioners will have to take the proposal back to their cities for approval of the plan. Mr. Creighton stated that the cities had already approved the concept of taking over access so that now it would just be a matter of if the cities liked this deal. NSCC After further discussion, Weyandt moved, seconded by Blesener to adopt 10.5-2 the appropriate resolution accepting the recommendation of the negotiating pproved committee and proceeding with an agreement in concepts and referring it to staff for detailed development with follow-up work sessions by the entire commission to agree on the details of that. The motion carried unanimously. The negotiating committee, had resigned as of the October 5, 1989 meeting, but due to the matters discussed at this meeting, Mr. Creighton felt that there would be an interium step between the full commission. He felt that the documents that were to be developed by Ms. Anderson, Ms. Stech and himself needed to be reviewed by the negotiating committee to see if they adequately reflect the negotiating committees recommendations. Mr. Creighton further stated that he did not want to have a full commission work shop session until the negotiating committee had reviewed the drafts that staff had prepared so that it could be brought to the commission in a more finalized product. With that in mind, a meeting of the negotiating committee was scheduled for noon, Wednesday, October 18, 1989 in Mr. Creighton's office. NSCC After further discussion, Mr. Blesener moved, seconded by Foley for the 10.5-3 commission to hold a work shop at 6:30 p.m. , October 26, 1989 at the Approved Arden Plaza Office Complex in regards to the access takeover. Motion carried unanimously. VIII. FINANCIAL REPORTING FOR NSCC/NSAC Ms. Anderson explained that sometime ago the commission agreed to have the representatives from the George M. Hansen Company do the quarterly
