Kolstad Company, Inc <br /> 6 Motion by Makowske, second by Enrooth to approve payment in the amount <br /> 7 of $2,362.00 to the Kolstad Company. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Councilmember Makowske requested an explanation of the additional charge <br /> 10 of $438.22 to this invoice. The City Manager advised this is not an ad- <br /> 11 dition to the contract for the wagon, but is for a pintle hook for the <br /> 12 tar wagon. It was added to this invoice merely for the convenience of <br /> 13 the Kolstad Company. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 16 <br /> 17 C. MacQueen Equipment Company <br /> i8 Motion by Enrooth, second by Marks to approve payment in the amount <br /> 19 of $60,328.00 to the MacQueen Equipment Company for a vehicle. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 The City Manager advised that this equipment cost approximately $20,000 <br /> 22 less than was budgeted. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Motion carried unanimously <br /> �5 <br /> 26 D. Verified Claims <br /> �7 Motion by Marks, second by Makowske to approve the verified claims <br /> 28 as presented for accounts payable dated June 6, 1990. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Councilmember Makowske questioned check number 01205 in the amount of <br /> 31 $725.79 to Golden Valley Supply. The City Manager advised this was for <br /> 32 the purchase of doors and door hardware which was installed in the City <br /> 33 Hall building. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 36 <br /> 37 6. REPORTS <br /> 38 <br /> 39 A. Council Reports <br /> 40 None of the Councilmembers had anything to report at this time. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 43 B. City Manager's Report <br /> The City Manager had included copies of the Association of Metropolitan <br /> 44 Municipalitiesl (AMM) Mission Statement in the Council 's informational <br /> 45 packet. Member cities of the AMM will be requested to vote on acceptance <br /> 46 of the mission statement at its September 20th meeting. It is being <br /> 47 proposed to hire an additional staff person which will bring the staff <br /> 48 total to four. An increase of approximately twenty-five percent in dues <br /> 49 is also being proposed. The AMM is requesting the City Council to appoint <br /> 50 <br />
