Other members of the Council agreed with <br /> 3 this request but Councilmember Marks stated he is still uncomfortable. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 B. Ordinance No. 1990-003; Re: Temporary Wine Licenses (third reading) <br /> 6 Motion by Ranallo, second by Enrooth to approve the third reading of <br /> 7 Ordinance No. 1990-003 and its adoption. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 The City Manager advised the Council there is an addition to Sub- <br /> 10 section 3 in the Ordinance labelled (f) which reads as follows: <br /> 11 <br /> 12 (f) No organization will be issued more than three temporary wine <br /> 13 licenses. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Members of the Council discussed the number of temporary wine licenses <br /> 16 to be issued annually and agreed on three. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Roll call : Enrooth, Makowske, Ranallo - aye <br /> 19 Marks - nay <br /> 20 Motion carried. <br /> 21 C. City's Insurance <br /> 22 Mark Flaten, President of American Risk Services, Inc. , sent a letter <br /> �3 to the City Manager with his recommendation for insurance coverage <br /> • 24 for the City of St. Anthony. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Mr. Flaten recommended staying with the retrospective program as the <br /> �7 City has a history to justify this choice. He recommended this con- <br /> 28 tingent on the Council designating funds toward a self-insurance <br /> 29 program. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 This renewal decision was due by June 1 , 1990 but was extended until <br /> 32 after the June 5, 1990 Council meeting. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Motion by Enrooth, second by Marks to follow the recommendation of Mr. <br /> 35 Mark Flaten and choose the guaranteed cost program for insurance coverage. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 38 <br /> 39 D. Request Letter From Mayor of Red Wing <br /> 40 Mayor Ranallo had received a letter from Joenell Dytstad, Mayor of <br /> 41 Red Wing, seeking Council support for her bid to be elected as <br /> 42 a Vice President of the Board of Directors of the League of Minnesota <br /> 43 Cities. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 The Mayor indicated he has written a personal letter of support and <br /> 46 inquired if the Councilmembers perferred to write individual letters <br /> 47 or a group letter of support. He noted he sent his letter to the <br /> 48 Chair of the Nominating Committee, Mayor Ken Murphy. <br /> 49 <br /> • 50 Councilmember Makowske inquired if any other person is seeking this <br />
