Although <br /> the low bidder is higher than our estimate, we understand that you have worked with <br /> Norsk before and you are comfortable with their performance. <br /> Small projects like these are often difficult to estimate because we do not always <br /> know how. A contractor perceives the cost of compiling with the use of CDBG mo- <br /> nies. <br /> Since this project is under $25,000, under state law you can issue a purchase order to <br /> perform the work. We are not sure of your licensing or bonding requirements for <br /> purchase orders but at a minimum you should identify on the purchase order form that <br /> all work will be done in 30 calendar days. <br /> Before the purchase order is issued, the following forms must be submitted by the <br /> contractor as part of the requirements for using CDBG monies. <br /> 1). Contractor/subcontractor certificate <br /> 2). Section & Compliance Certificate <br /> 3). EEOC Certificate <br /> 4).
