<br /> Experience (cont'd.) Hennepin County Light Rail Transit, Hennepin County,
<br /> Minnesota. Mr. Bergstrom acted as the environmental project
<br /> manager during the consideration of four separate corridors
<br /> proposed for construction of a new light real line. Tasks
<br /> included environmental analysis of parcel proposed for
<br /> acquisition.
<br /> Interstate Highway 35, Duluth, Minnesota. Mr. Bergstrom
<br /> served as the environmental project manager during the
<br /> evaluation, acquisition, and construction of a new 2-mile freeway
<br /> corridor through a mixed residential/industrial neighborhood.
<br /> Specific tasks performed were environmental property
<br /> assessments on some 50 parcels, test drilling and chemical
<br /> analysis, remedial investigation/feasibility studies, development of
<br /> remedial action plans and site safety plans, monitoring of
<br /> contaminated soil excavation and placement, monitoring
<br /> construction personnel safety, liaison with regulatory agency
<br /> staff, and mitigation planning and implementation for unforseen
<br /> circumstances. The total project cost is $50 million.
<br /> Interstate Highway 394, Golden Valley, Minnesota. Mr.
<br /> Bergstrom served as the environmental project manager during
<br /> the evaluation, acquisition, and construction of a new 2-mile
<br /> segment of freeway corridor in suburban Minneapolis. Tasks
<br /> • performed were environmental property assessments on 20+
<br /> parcels, test drilling and monitor well installation, chemical
<br /> analyses plans, site safety.plans, monitoring of contaminated soil
<br /> removal and disposal, monitoring construction personnel safety,
<br /> liaison with regulatory agency staff and providing mitigation
<br /> planning for unforseen circumstances. The total project cost is
<br /> $150 million.
